Amiibo figurines are not just cool collectibles; they also offer rewards in almost every Nintendo Switch game. The same holds true for both The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and the recently released The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. With countless Amiibo options available, including a few new additions designed specifically for Link’s latest adventures, it may seem overwhelming to scan them all. But fear not, not all of them provide unique rewards. However, there are a few that you should definitely consider getting your hands on for some special unlocks. Let’s take a look at all the Amiibo rewards in Tears of the Kingdom and how to activate them.

To access any Amiibo reward in Tears of the Kingdom, you first need to enable them. Pause the game and go to the System Menu. Then, simply change the amiibo disabled tab to “Use amiibo.”
Once done, you’ll notice a new option in your Ability Wheel. Look for the Amiibo icon in the bottom-left corner and select it. This action will create a circle on the ground, indicating the location where the Amiibo reward you’re about to scan will appear. Now, you can easily scan any Amiibo by placing them on top of your right Joy-Con or the top of your Pro controller.
