The easiest and quickest method to unlock the Chimera is by earning two kills with assault rifles in 15 different matches. To complete this challenge swiftly, jump into the Shipment playlist on Modern Warfare 2. Earn your two kills with an assault rifle and then exit the match. Your kills will still count, so start another match and repeat the process. After participating in 15 matches, you will have successfully unlocked the Chimera. Keep in mind that you will need to own a copy of Modern Warfare 2 to complete this challenge.
Unlocking the Chimera in Warzone 2.0

The same method can be applied in Warzone 2.0, but be aware that it might take longer because loading into a match can consume several minutes. Additionally, we don’t recommend quitting a battle royale match as it may leave your teammates in a tough spot. Playing the mini royale mode can save you some time, as it offers a smaller section of the map to play on. However, the process will still take longer compared to the Modern Warfare 2 method. If you want to save money, this is the best strategy.
Unlocking the Chimera in DMZ
New with Season 1 Reloaded is Building 21, an immensely challenging area that throws you into a densely packed battle against enemy AI. It has just been released, and players are still uncovering its secrets. Within the building, you have the opportunity to extract the Chimera weapon, but it will require a great deal of luck, skill, and preparation. Even if you execute everything perfectly, you can still be taken out easily. Unlocking the Chimera via this method is the most difficult and time-consuming, so we suggest sticking to the previous two strategies for optimal results.

When it comes to MW2 Multiplayer, there are numerous viable loadout options for the Chimera. However, one particular build stands out. In this build, prioritize speed, mobility, and stealth. The Chimera is unique because it comes with a built-in suppressor by default, eliminating the need for a muzzle or barrel attachment. This allows you to save valuable attachment slots.
Start with the VLK LZR 7MW Laser for faster aim down sights (ADS) speed, improved aiming stability, and quicker transition from sprint to fire. Next, utilize the Ravage-8 Stock to boost your crouch movement speed, sprint speed, and ADS time.
Follow that up with the FTAC Ripper 56 Underbarrel to enhance aiming idle stability, hip fire accuracy, and recoil stabilization. Afterward, equip the Bruen Flash Grip Rear Grip to improve your sprint-to-fire speed and ADS speed. This will provide a snappier feel to the weapon.
