Destiny 2’s Season of the Splicer has introduced a powerful new ritual weapon called Null Composure. This fusion rifle offers exceptional perks, but acquiring it requires some effort. In this article, we will provide you with all the information you need to unlock the Null Composure seasonal ritual weapon.
How to Unlock the Null Composure Seasonal Ritual Weapon
Acquiring the Null Composure fusion rifle is a straightforward process, although it does require some time investment. To unlock it, you must complete the A Sacred Fusion quest, which involves participating in various playlist activities. Before you can embark on the quest, you need to obtain it.
Head to the Tower and speak with Banshee-44 to pick up the quest. If you have already interacted with him since the start of the Season of the Splicer, the quest should already be in your inventory. Similar to previous ritual quests, this one requires you to grind through playlist activities to gradually fill two progress bars. Here’s what you need to do:
- Earn points by defeating enemies in playlist activities.
- Complete playlist activities.
The second requirement does not specify a particular activity, which allows you to focus on the playlist where you can achieve the most kills. This approach will maximize the progress bar for both requirements. Gambit is an excellent option if you have a solid build, while Crucible can be fruitful if you possess sufficient skill. It’s advisable to switch between activities to avoid burnout. For assistance, you can refer to our Gambit guide and Crucible guide.
Aside from playing more Destiny 2, there are a few tactics you can employ to expedite your progress. Firstly, equip a fusion rifle, preferably one with Solar damage, along with another weapon that deals Solar damage. You will earn bonus progress for kills with fusion rifles, disintegrations, or Solar damage across the playlist activities.
Additionally, make sure to equip your Stasis subclass, as it will further enhance your progress. Be sure to read our guide on how to unlock the new Stasis aspects from the Season of the Splicer.
Once you have completed the required activities, return to the Tower and speak with Banshee-44 to claim your well-deserved Null Composure fusion rifle.
Null Composure Perks and Mods
Null Composure is a fusion rifle that deals Void damage and utilizes special ammo. It comes with the Exotic Intrinsic perk, Rapid-Fire Frame, which increases your ammo reserves and provides faster reloads when the magazine is empty. Additionally, it has two fixed perks and two perk options:
- Fluted Barrel: Enhances stability by +5 and handling by +15.
- Projection Fuse: Boosts range by +10.
- Feeding Frenzy or Heating Up: Feeding Frenzy grants a reload speed boost for rapid kills, with the effect stacking as you continue to earn rapid kills. Heating Up improves accuracy, stability, and recoil when dealing a final blow.
- Reservoir Burst or High-Impact Reserves: Reservoir Burst increases magazine size by +30 and causes defeated enemies to explode when the battery is full. High-Impact Reserves amplifies the power of rounds at the end of the magazine.
Of course, customization plays a vital role in Destiny 2. We recommend selecting Heating Up and Reservoir Burst. Heating Up provides a significant stat boost as long as you maintain a continuous streak of final blows. On the other hand, Reservoir Burst not only increases your magazine size, but it also grants a damage boost for the initial rounds, allowing you to take down additional enemies.
