Before You Begin

To embark on the new Stasis quest, you must first complete the Born in Darkness quest from Beyond Light, as well as any previous Stasis quests. Born in Darkness will grant you two out of the four required Stasis Aspects. There is an additional one available in the Season of the Chosen.

Acquiring the Season of the Chosen Stasis Aspects is a straightforward process. Simply speak to the Exo Stranger in Beyond after completing Born in Darkness, and follow the quest markers.

To initiate the Aspect of Interference quest in Season of the Splicer, visit Beyond and converse with the Exo Stranger.

The first step requires you to investigate the darkness around Kell’s Rising. If you’ve reached this stage, you already know what that entails. Prepare your Salvation’s Grip and make your way to the northern end of the map to reach Kell’s Rising.

There are five more Entrophic Shards scattered throughout the platforming section of Kell’s Rising, amounting to a total of six shards. Collect heavy ammo on your ascent to destroy them. Be cautious of the hordes of enemies that will confront you.

Upon destroying the final shard, a Wyvern boss will appear. Defeat it along with the accompanying enemies to obtain the Skeleton Key and unlock the Heroic Simulation.

Completing the Heroic Simulation

To acquire the new Stasis Aspects, you must complete another simulation. Before commencing, equip Overload and Anti-Barrier mods to address the Barrier and Overload Champions you will face during the challenge. It is advisable to team up with two other players, as the recommended power level is 1,320.

The challenge begins with platforming sections and sparse enemy encounters. You will immediately start building the Biting Cold status effect. If it accumulates 10 stacks, you will begin taking damage. To decrease this effect, position yourself near fires and alternate between them as you ascend.

Continue battling your way through until you reach the boss, a formidable Vex hydra. Prepare yourself for a challenging fight, as the boss will summon additional enemies. Focus your damage on the boss to overcome this obstacle.

Once the boss is vanquished, return to Beyond and head to the Darkness altar. Follow the path to its conclusion, where you will receive your new Stasis Aspects.

Season of the Splicer’s New Stasis Aspects: Unveiled

You do not need to complete the quest with your alternate characters. Instead, you can immediately visit the altar in Beyond on Europa to acquire the aspects for each class in Destiny 2. Here is a breakdown of what each aspect does:

  • Warlock: Glacial Harvest – This aspect is the simplest yet most powerful. Whenever you freeze an enemy, Stasis shards will materialize around the target, freezing nearby enemies as well. Higher-tier enemies will generate a greater number of shards.

  • Titan: Diamond Lance – Diamond Lance grants you a Stasis Lance whenever you shatter or defeat a frozen enemy. You can throw the lance to freeze a target upon impact. Alternatively, using your melee ability will slam the lance into the ground, creating a small frozen area.

  • Hunter: Touch of Winter – Touch Winter enhances your grenade abilities. Coldsnap Grenades will seek out targets from a greater distance and at a higher velocity, with an additional chain effect. Glacier Grenades will now spawn Stasis crystals. Lastly, Duskfield Grenades will create a larger slow area and form a Stasis crystal upon impact.
