Diablo 4: Discovering the Strongholds

The Diablo franchise has become renowned for its captivating Action RPG dungeon crawling gameplay. Since its second installment, the series has captivated players with its character progression, loot-focused dungeon runs, and challenging higher difficulty levels. Diablo 4 takes this experience to new heights by introducing a diverse range of challenges. Among these trials, the Strongholds stand out as the ultimate endgame test. Conquering these formidable fortresses rewards the bold and intelligent with a wealth of treasures, but locating them is the first step. In the vast world of Sanctuary, here are all the Stronghold locations you need to know.

Each of the game’s five main regions harbors three Strongholds, resulting in a total of 15 to discover. Given the sprawling nature of these regions, it can be overwhelming to comb through every inch. Thankfully, knowing where to look will significantly ease your search. Once a Stronghold is conquered—usually requiring the defeat of all enemies, solving puzzles, and overcoming tough mini-bosses—it transforms into a settlement, serving as a convenient Waypoint. Unlike other content in Diablo 4, Strongholds do not scale to your character’s level but maintain a few levels above your current power, ensuring a continuous challenge no matter when you decide to tackle them.
