Get Started – The Challenge
Throughout the story mode in Dragon Ball Legends, you will encounter various tasks that revolve around executing special skills and special moves. Fear not, for these challenges are simpler than you might think. All you need to do is equip yourself with a “green card” and a “special card.” The green card is your gateway to casting the special skill, while the special move allows you to deal devastating damage to your foes.
Mastering the Special Skill
However, there is a catch. While battling against your enemies, you will be limited in the number of cards you can use. Before engaging in combat, take a moment to assess the number of cards at your disposal. This number depends on the character you choose for the battle.
As you can see in the image above, before selecting characters, we start with three strike cards, three blast cards, one special move card, and one green/special skill card. Now, here’s the twist: although my team’s power exceeds that of my opponent (97,000 versus 47,185), to overcome the challenge, I must use a special skill or a green card.
Securing the special skill card at the start of the battle is not guaranteed. It may appear towards the end, forcing you to use your strike and blast cards to decrease the odds. To optimize your chances of obtaining the precious special skill card, utilize your strike and blast cards when you see the warning icon (i), signaling an incoming opponent attack.
