To see the word count and other document statistics on your Mac, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Open your document in Pages on your Mac.

Step 2: There are two ways to display the word count:

  • Select “View” in the Pages toolbar and choose “Show word count.”
  • Go to the Menu bar, click on “View,” and select “Show word count.”

You can use the arrows on the right side of the word count to navigate through different statistics such as character count with or without spaces, page count, or paragraph count.
