How to Redeem an Xbox One Code

Microsoft offers a convenient method to make purchases or unlock digital games without the need for storing credit card information. Xbox gift cards, available in-store, come in different denominations ranging from $10 to $100. Each card has a 25-character code hidden beneath a scratch-off layer on the back. Gamers may also receive a code to unlock a digital game that comes with an Xbox One bundle.

On the Xbox

These instructions are based on OS version 10.0.19041.4900. Your Xbox One console may have slightly different steps.

Step 1: Grab your controller and press the Xbox button.

Step 2: Choose the Store option from the rollout menu. Alternatively, select the Store tile on the Home screen.
