This week’s missions, titled “Smash & Grab,” bring back some familiar tasks from the past. Although they may be repeats, don’t underestimate their value. Fortnite Season 10, Week 4 Challenges

Epic Games continues its new approach to weekly challenges this week. You’ll still need to complete seven challenges, but once you’re done, the more challenging prestige versions of the same tasks will unlock. Embrace the added difficulty because the rewards will be worth your efforts.
Smash and Grab challenges:
- Search a chest within 60 seconds after landing from the battle bus three separate times
- Land at a hot spot in three different matches
- Deal 100 damage within 30 seconds after using a launchpad
- Search two chests within 30 seconds of each other three separate times
- Pick up a legendary item in three different matches
- Search a supply drop within 10 seconds of it landing three times
- Deal 200 damage to opponents at hot spots
Smash and Grab Prestige challenges:
- Search a chest and an ammo box within 30 seconds of landing from the battle bus three different times
- Destroy three loot carriers within 60 seconds of landing from the battle bus
- Eliminate an opponent within 30 seconds after using a launchpad
- Search three chests within 30 seconds of each other
- Pick up three legendary items in a single match
- Gather 100 of all three materials within 60 seconds of landing from the battle bus
- Eliminate three opponents at a hot spot
Season 10, Week 4 Hot Spot Challenge Tips

As the name suggests, the hot spot challenges in Fortnite: Battle Royale are heating things up this week. You’ll encounter a total of three tasks that revolve around these intense zones. Your objectives will include landing at a hot spot, dealing damage to adversaries there, and eliminating opponents.
These missions are fairly straightforward, and you won’t have trouble completing them together. The good news is that you won’t be alone in this endeavor since there will be other players attempting the same challenges.
To maximize your chances of success, we recommend tackling the hot spot challenges in Team Rumble or one of the other large team modes. These modes allow for better coordination with your teammates, enabling you to work together to take down enemies at different hot spots.
If you find the hot spot challenges challenging, don’t worry. You can make use of the Party Assist feature in the challenges tab, which allows your teammates to assist you in completing each of the three challenges this week.
What is a Hot Spot?

If you’re a seasoned Fortnite player and participated in season 9, you’re already familiar with hot spots. But if you’re new to the game, let us bring you up to speed.
Inspired by Respawn’s Apex Legends, hot spots are areas on the Battle Royale map that offer high-quality loot. In these locations, you’ll also find loot carriers flying around, carrying precious items.
To find a hot spot, open your map at the beginning of a match and look for a glowing yellow region. This highlighted area represents a hot spot and serves as your destination to complete the hot spot challenges.
Bear in mind that hot spots may not appear immediately. Sometimes, they’ll only reveal themselves once the battle bus has moved on. So if you don’t spot a hot spot right away, be patient. Check your map again after some time, and you’ll likely find a glowing location. Each match guarantees at least one hot spot, but occasionally, you may even encounter two or three.
How to Complete the Hot Spot Challenges

The first hot spot challenge of the week asks you to land at a hot spot in three matches. Simply jump into a match, locate the highlighted area on your map, and make your way there. Repeat this process twice more to accomplish the challenge.
While you may be tempted to leave the match after landing at the hot spot, here’s a time-saving tip: You can actually work towards completing the second hot spot challenge during your stay. This task requires you to deal at least 200 damage to opponents at hot spots, and finding adversaries won’t be an issue. Dealing 200 damage is equivalent to eliminating one player with full health and shields or two players without shields.
We suggest landing at the hot spot and swiftly equipping yourself with a nearby weapon. With this weapon, eliminate opponents with no weapons or strike before they have a chance to attack you. Shotguns, the new Junk Rift item, or a Brute mech are the ideal choices for this challenge.
Lastly, you’ll face the prestige challenge of eliminating three opponents at a hot spot location. While this challenge brings added difficulty, it complements your previous objectives. When you land at the three different hot spots in three separate matches, make sure to gear up and eliminate at least one enemy each time. By doing so, you’ll triumph over the final hot spot challenge on your list.
