When players of the recently released PlayStation 4 game, God of War, reach the Lake of Nine, a massive open-world hub, they stumble upon the watery graves of many Nordic ships. And where there are ships, treasures are bound to be found. Among the various collectibles in God of War are special treasures, which are marked on maps that require players to decipher their locations using visual clues.

Embarking on the scavenger hunt for all 12 treasures is no small task, as players must find all the maps and the corresponding loot. Solution: Since the treasure is related to a captain, it’s logical to search near a boat. Head to the Isle of Death in the southwestern section of the island and disembark. Climb to the top of the island, where you’ll find a forsaken shipwreck resting on a rock. Inside the hull, you’ll discover the treasure.

Solution: The map is referring to the dwarven king of Veithurgard, who is a skilled hunter. Head to the eastern region and land on the mainland. Follow the path that leads to the castle, where two dwarf statues guard the entrance. To find the treasure, go left from the door, and you’ll see one of the statues’ heads lying on the ground. The treasure is right next to it.

Map Location: Proceed to the Witch’s Cave once Atreus has obtained the lightning arrows. With the water level lowered, head toward the path leading up to the Witch’s house. Instead of going up, look for a path on the right side that leads downward. Utilize the Alfheim’s Light arrows to complete the bridges and descend further. After passing a Nornir chest, you’ll come across a World Tree Sap barrier. Destroy it and climb up to find a room with a Hidden Chamber door and several treasure chests. The map can be found between the chests.

Solution: The treasure map hints at Reavers and a “perch” where the treasure is hidden. The Northri Stronghold is the place where the Reavers congregate. To enter the stronghold, you’ll need the “Family Business” Favor from Sindri, which requires completing the “Fafnir’s Hoard” Favor beforehand. Once inside the stronghold, row to the dock near the water wheel. As you start ascending the path from the landing, stop before the gap that requires jumping over and turn around to face your boat. You’ll spot a climbable wall. At the top, you’ll find the treasure.
